Logbook
One thing I really liked about org-mode is ability to log time it takes each task using a keyboard shortcut. Every headline can be a task and every headline can thus have a logbook drawer. I implemented it in lifelab using metadata and a flag that shows a button if metadata is present. It is stored as a json and queryable using the notebook api! I use it to track work, tasks and gaming. Every block can have a logbook attached to it, and by pinning them to the sidebar we can make adhoc habit trackers.
