The same summon line, bigger payload: accept a page result and it lands as a live region — a window into that page, not a copy. Blocks inside render native and editable; a block added inside is homed on the summoned page, so you author emnlp-2026/orals-tue without ever leaving emnlp-2026. Prior art: org-transclusion, Roam/Logseq {{embed}}, federated wiki.
The region is a page-ref in the order overlay — same mechanism as a block summon. The blocks belong to the summoned page; this surface just looks in.
The ghost add-line inside the region creates the block on the summoned page — primary_page is the session, visible here instantly.
No matching page? The summon line's create row makes the page and transcludes it in one ↵ — new session pages never require leaving the conference.
A transclusion inside a transclusion renders as a plain [[link]]. No recursion, no cycles, no visual soup.
In summon mode (Mod+K s) pages already rank in the results. Before, ↵ on a page inserted a collapsed card; now ↵ transcludes the page as a live region. → still scopes into its headlines to summon a single block; ⌥↵ still jumps to the page itself.

One quiet 2px rule spans the region; the header carries fold, link, count. Flat — consistent with "blocks are never cards".
Org-literal delimiters top and bottom. Honest, but two lines of chrome per region reads noisy once you have three sessions.
bg-panel fill + border, like a code block. Fences the blocks off from your own captures — exactly what summon avoids.
Typing a path that doesn't exist surfaces new page — create & transclude as the first row. One ↵: the page exists, the region is on your surface, the cursor is on its add line. This is how you spin up session pages mid-conference without ever leaving the conference page.
This is the whole value of the container: where you type decides primary_page. Commit inside the region → the block belongs to orals-tue and shows up here through the window. Commit outside → it's a native conference block. The echo area states it plainly so it's never ambiguous. Summon works inside the region too — pull an existing paper block onto the session page.
Tab on the header folds the region to a single line — the conference page becomes a clean index of sessions that unfold in place. If a transcluded page itself transcludes something, that inner region renders as a plain [[link]] — one level deep, always. No cycles, no soup; jump if you need to go deeper.
C-c - on the header dismisses the window (ref removed from this page's overlay; the page is untouched). Delete is never offered on the header — a region isn't a block. Blocks inside keep their normal provenance rules.
